The Tiedemann rein is a combination of running reins and martingale used in the daily schooling of the horse. German martingales are a useful training aid for promoting flexion and proper headset, without the need for a harsher draw line. This training device offers maximum control with the least amount of pressure. Reins have stainless steel D-rings to allow you to adjust the degree of pressure depending on horse size and training level.
